Help: Search Diary Register

You can use the Search Diary Register page to search the Register (indexes) to Kafka's diaries.

From the Search Diary Register page you can use the Upper Toolbar to open a context-sensitive Help page or to clear the Search form. You can also use the Right-Hand Toolbar to start a new search, to switch to a different Search page, to consult general information about Kafkas Werke or to access the top-level Table of Contents page. You can access the Search Diary Register page by clicking the Diary Register icon on the Right-Hand Toolbar. Alternatively, if your last search was a Diary Register search, you can click the Refine Search icon on the Upper Toolbar of a page and you will be taken to the Search Diary Register page (your original search terms will be preserved in the Search form); or you can start a fresh search by clicking the New Search icon on the Right-Hand Toolbar.

The Search Diary Register page allows you to use a Keyword field to find any word or phrase in the Diary Register. To enter terms into the Keyword search box:

For example:
Keyword: Lessing
Keyword: Unter den Linden

When searching in the Keyword field, you can use truncation to retrieve documents containing variations on a term. If you choose to search for more than one term, you can also combine them using Boolean and proximity searching.
